About B.A.L.L.

Beaverton Area Little League (B.A.L.L.) was established in 1959 and is organized and chartered under Little League Baseball, Inc. We offer Beaverton/Aloha youth a BASEBALL & SOFTBALL program emphasizing team play, good sportsmanship, and player self-esteem and skills development. Little League, founded over 60 years ago in Williamsport, PA, is the largest youth sports program in the world. Little League is non-profit, tax exempt corporation with a Federal Charter granted by Congress in 1964.

Beaverton Area Little League offers programs in T-ball, baseball and softball. The regular season runs from April through June with practices beginning in March. Post-season play begins in mid-June and runs through Mid-August. Games are played at various fields throughout the Beaverton/Aloha area. All children can play regardless of ability to pay, although parents of scholarship players will be expected to perform volunteer service in lieu of payment.

Our Mission

It is the purpose of the Beaverton Area Little League to use the sport of baseball and softball to promote sportsmanship, citizenship, and a healthy competitive spirit among children from ages five (5) through eighteen (18). The league will at all times strive to present the highest standards of conduct and performance both from the players and the administrative personnel.

Volunteers Needed

The success of B.A.L.L. depends on the volunteer support we receive, and we welcome your participation. Every year there are many new opportunities available for you to become involved in creating the best experience for our kids possible. As with any successful youth program, it is the willingness and enthusiasm of our parent volunteers to step in that makes it possible. Please do not miss out on the chance for a truly rewarding experience for both you and your children.

If you are interested in learning more about getting involved with Beaverton Area Little League, please contact us at info@beavertonball.com or feel free to attend any board meeting held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of every month.

Boundaries

The Beaverton Area Little League charter, granted by the national Little League office in Williamsport, PA, allows us to accept players who reside within specific geographic boundaries. The applications of all players are screened to ensure the child meets the residence requirements.

The B.A.L.L. boundaries include the attendance area of the following elementary schools:

  • Aloha Huber Park
  • Butternut Creek
  • Chehalem
  • Cooper Mountain
  • Errol Hassell
  • Hazeldale
  • Kinnaman
  • Groner

If attending a private or middle school, use the school boundary in which you reside Do not attempt to violate the residence requirements. "Residence" means where your child lives - not where relatives live, where the child attends school, or where mail is sent. Violating the residence requirement will not only risk your child's ability to participate now and in the future, but it also risks the playing status of the child's team and the entire league. If you believe that your circumstance warrants special consideration, please contact B.A.L.L. so the appeal process can be completed prior to the start of the season.
